Whitby is a small town in North Yorkshire. At the top of 199 stairs stands the remains of all that's left of Whitby Abbey. Heading away from Whitby, we move to Transylvania where Dracula is first said to have originated from. On one particular night, the people of Transylvania discovered Count Dracula because of all the murders he had committed. Dracula instantly knew that if he was caught he would be killed and the only way he could be killed was with a wooden stake through his beating heart. So he quickly fled to the docks where he found a huge ship full to the brim of people ready to set sail to Whitby.
On the ship, Dracula disguised himself in the form of a dog as everyone knew that a vampire was on the loose. Dogs were useful for sensing danger on a ship so the crew members thought that he was harmless. During the long, tiresome days Dracula stayed in the cellar because even one touch of a bright sun ray could turn him to pure dust. Vampires only drink blood as a source of nutrition, so every time a single crew member came down to the cellar to collect something, Dracula would pounce violently draining the body of blood until it was bone dry.
Back in Whitby, a couple walking along the pier noticed a ship slowly drifting into the harbour. Looking closely, not a single crew member was on the ship, not even the Captain because Dracula had killed them all. It was simply a ghost ship. Without no crew the ship would obviously crash into the harbour wall, but thanks to the vampire's mind controlling abilities the ship was steered to its mooring . All that embarked off the ship was a black dog , as black as the night's sky, who raced off and disappeared into the town of Whitby. The couple thought nothing of it.
When the ship arrived, Dracula had noticed the sun rising, meaning that if he didn't find somewhere to hide hastily, then we would be burnt to a crisp by the glaring rays. Looking around, he spotted the Abbey at the top of the hill and decided that this was the best place to hide. He ran over the bridge and past the small shops. When he got to the bottom of the 199 stairs, he ran up them .The Abbey was a dark and spooky place, perfect for vampires . Though deep down Dracula knew he wouldn't be there long. He needed fresh blood to survive. Whitby was a brilliant town well known for the many tourists that visited so it would be incredibly easy for him to lure them slowly to their death.
When everyone in the town finally found out about Count Dracula, they called a meeting and decided on the idea that they must capture Dracula and kill him immediately before anyone else fell into his evil clutches. So the next night, they searched for him. High and low. They knew he was there, waiting for his next victim. Once they located him, the towns people pinned Dracula down, careful not to stare into his piercing eyes. They laid him on the tomb stone whilst the priest prayed over him. Those breaths were the last he ever took. Without hesitation, they plunged the wooden stake into the vampire's pulsing heart. A loud shriek echoed through the sleeping town. The vampire was eventually dead.
